Rotary Club of Durgapur Central, in association with IQ City Medical College & Hospital, organized a community service project aimed at raising awareness about the issues of child marriage and teenage pregnancy. The event, held at Hetadoba village , Sishu Sikkha Kendra near Durgapur today on 3rd February 2026, included a Drawing & Quiz Competition for the children and a Health & Awareness Program. The event was attended by Rtn Mantaar Singh, President, and Rtn Biren Mondal, Secretary of Rotary Club of Durgapur Central, who distributed awards and food packets to students and villagers, emphasizing Rotarys commitment to community welfare.Through this initiative, Rotary Club of Durgapur Central aims to educate and empower local communities, particularly the youth & women , on the importance of addressing child marriage and teenage pregnancy, promoting a healthier and more informed society.
