Fish seed release initiative under the program "Back to Nature" by Rotary Club Durgapur Central :: In a hearty attempt to restore ecological balance and promote environmental stability, Rotary Club Durgapur Central launched a meaningful project called "Back to Nature ", in which thousands of fish seeds were released in the nearby Durgapur barrage reservoir. The objective of this initiative is to rejuvenate the aquatic ecosystem, increase biodiversity and support the livelihood of local communities dependent on fishing. Fishes play an important role in maintaining the health of water bodies by balancing the food chain and improving water quality, and this step is a small but effective way of protecting nature.
